Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Åke Walmarsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Åke Walmarsson came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ernst Stenqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lautaro Navarro was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. 26 minutes into the match, Edmundo Espiga dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mats Bruse, 1-0. Sebastian Villa ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Ultra Boys's Arne Martinsson got a free kick in the 40th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Moises Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mats Bruse breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 43 minutes into the game, Sebastian Villa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mats Bruse. Sebastian Villa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. 50 minutes into the game, Emil Löfgren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ultra Boys's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. Emil Löfgren hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Honduras had played much better football throughout.
