Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alin Dimofte took the kick off in the first half of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Sancho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Horia Crăciunescu. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. FC Inter Sibiu's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Luis Andino scored to the left of an out of position Horia Crăciunescu, making the score, 3-0. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 13th minute, which Horia Crăciunescu however easily saved by the left post. Horia Crăciunescu stood somewhat misplaced when Daniel Zorita came free in front of goal and shot 4-0 to the left of him in the 15 minute. 20 minutes into the match, FC Inter Sibiu's goalkeeper Horia Crăciunescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. FC Inter Sibiu's Basarab Enciulescu got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Inter Sibiu's Horia Crăciunescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, FC Inter Sibiu's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Horia Crăciunescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 34 minutes of play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Horia Crăciunescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horia Crăciunescu. Horia Crăciunescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. After 42 minutes, Daniel Zorita made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. FC Inter Sibiu's Horia Crăciunescu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Luis Andino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 53 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Horia Crăciunescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Daniel Zorita scored 10-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Horia Crăciunescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 61st minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. 65 minutes into the match, Luis Andino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Horia Crăciunescu. FC Inter Sibiu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Andino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. In the 68th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 13-0. 71 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Luis Andino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Horia Crăciunescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 14-0. Horia Crăciunescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 74th minute of the match. FC Inter Sibiu's Horia Crăciunescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 75th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Mircea Bostan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Mircea Bostan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute, Luis Andino made a precise shot to the right of Horia Crăciunescu. FC Inter Sibiu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 15-0. Horia Crăciunescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho scored 16-0 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Horia Crăciunescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Horia Crăciunescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 92nd minute of play. Marian Dancu hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ecuador fully deserved thier win.
