After a defensive mix-up in HEJA ESLÖV's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Grubb came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. HEJA ESLÖV's George Fors quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Christian Sancho, made in the 13th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Moises Tafalla got a free kick in the 13th minute. Edmundo Espiga succeeded in the game's 18th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a rather tough play, HEJA ESLÖV's Sverker Persson got a free kick in the 39th minute. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Sebastian Villa hit a great ball. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gabriel Grubb prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 73 minutes into the game, Per Ljungberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. HEJA ESLÖV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. The supporters of Honduras booed when HEJA ESLÖV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per Ljungberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel Grubb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 3-2 became the score in the 79th minute when Leonard Lustig elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 85thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but HEJA ESLÖV's Gabriel Grubb was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gabriel Grubb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 88th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gabriel Grubb prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 94th minute Sebastian Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Grubb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honduras walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
