Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Claudio Patricelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 52nd minute of the match. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claudio Patricelli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radoslaw Debowski in the 55th minute of play. Alvise Silvi kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Geirhvatur Ómarsson in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Balla 1926 fc's Geirhvatur Ómarsson got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Geirhvatur Ómarsson went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 95th minute, Radoslaw Debowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 97th minute of play forced Balla 1926 fc's goalkeeper Claudio Patricelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Balla 1926 fc's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
