In the 9th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Ros to maneuver through the defense. When Aaron Barrios fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Panama's protests and gave Aaron Barrios a yellow card for diving instead. Nuno Almedia struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Marcos Cotilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Young Angola. A collision led to Young Angola getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Edgar Caneças hit a great ball. In the 13th minute, Rodrigo Novais hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute Abraham Alguacil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 叶镇晨 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Isidoro Sarmiento was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Panama's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Young Angola the free kick. In the 15th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Sarmiento to maneuver through the defense. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Panama! 25 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Almedia came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 叶镇晨 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 31st minute of play forced Young Angola's goalkeeper 叶镇晨 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nuno Almedia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rdth minute of the game Tomas Berganza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Young Angola's 叶镇晨 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luís Quilempan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Berganza in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 叶镇晨 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 叶镇晨 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 40th minute of the match. Nuno Almedia's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nuno Almedia helped the player get up and apologised. Nuno Almedia kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luís Quilempan was the one to do the kick off. If Isidoro Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 59 minutes into the game, Isidoro Sarmiento recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of 叶镇晨. Isidoro Sarmiento showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Panama's Alex Cambeiro got a free kick in the 61st minute. With an all-out effort, Panama's 叶镇晨 threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Isidoro Sarmiento, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 66th minute, Tomas Berganza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 叶镇晨 was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 叶镇晨 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 69th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Young Angola's Luís Quilempan got a free kick in the 71st minute. Panama were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Young Angola's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Abraham Alguacil took the corner. When Panama's Tomas Berganza in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Young Angola's goalie prevented a goal. 叶镇晨 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute Nuno Almedia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 叶镇晨 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Miralles, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. With an all-out effort, Panama's 叶镇晨 threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tomas Berganza, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Tomas Berganza came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Berganza couldn't finish the play. Panama's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
