In the 20th minute, Mariano Lacasa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the match, Olimpia Koło's goalkeeper Pawel Madej had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. A collision led to Olimpia Koło getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Ubaldo Urbez hit a great ball. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Skjold in the 28th minute of play. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pawel Madej read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. After 40 played minutes Olimpia Koło got a freekick which was hit by Ubaldo Urbez. 42 minutes into the game, Olimpia Koło's Sylwester Majorski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thiago Pliego made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Guillermo Fontirroig's late challenge caught a Olimpia Koło's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guillermo Fontirroig helped the player get up and apologised.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cyryl Adamus to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Olimpia Koło's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Pawel Madej reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cyryl Adamus was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 53rd minute. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pawel Madej having to make a save. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sylwester Majorski, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Chile's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tzonyo Shkodrev ran over to the corner to take the kick. Olimpia Koło's Tzonyo Shkodrev was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Thiago Pliego in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Yuan Xu Lei kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 68th minute of the match Mariano Lacasa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pawel Madej showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sylwester Majorski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when David Skjold sent off a good shot on target. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pawel Madej read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Tolek Jarmulowicz made a precise shot to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
