Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Oliver Giroud sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Bɪᴀɴᴄᴀ ŦС's Matias Loureiro got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 21st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joshua Secada to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Hardas Dunđer kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 in the 28 minute of play. If Hardas Dunđer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Oliver Giroud came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Bɪᴀɴᴄᴀ ŦС fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Bɪᴀɴᴄᴀ ŦС's Oliver Giroud looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Giroud in the 43rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Bɪᴀɴᴄᴀ ŦС's Hardas Dunđer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Hardas Dunđer did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant 44 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Oliver Giroud's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 47th minute of the game.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Gustav Kihlberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Illescas, 53 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Bɪᴀɴᴄᴀ ŦС made a substitution. Per-Arne Björkqvist replaced Bernt Stigsson. Bɪᴀɴᴄᴀ ŦС's Piotr Palzewicz was substituted for Ettore Giusti. After a rather tough play, Bɪᴀɴᴄᴀ ŦС's Matias Loureiro got a free kick in the 69th minute. After 71 played minutes Bɪᴀɴᴄᴀ ŦС got a freekick which was hit by Piotr Palzewicz. After a defensive mix-up in Bɪᴀɴᴄᴀ ŦС's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joachim Högman came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Matias Loureiro kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Bɪᴀɴᴄᴀ ŦС's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Joachim Högman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliver Giroud in the 79th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oliver Giroud went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 87th minute, Oliver Giroud hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Cato Onstad kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot.
