Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Cantera Leales Sin Pagar's Romulo Torres started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Cantera Leales Sin Pagar's goalkeeper Fernando Belo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. After 5 minutes of play, Cantera Leales Sin Pagar's Romulo Torres made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Fernando Belo made a huge save. Fernando Belo made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. 19 minutes into the match, Cantera Leales Sin Pagar's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Fernando Belo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Cornelio Eskuin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Belo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romulo Torres's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Cantera Leales Sin Pagar were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emanuel Cefero took the corner. Eustacio Hotz made a great header on Cantera Leales Sin Pagar's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. With a little luck, Cantera Leales Sin Pagar's Fernando Belo got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Romulo Torres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Cantera Leales Sin Pagar's Fernando Belo got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Cantera Leales Sin Pagar's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Belo came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cantera Leales Sin Pagar made a substitution. Lino Orlo replaced Emilio Quinten.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Belo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Horacio Quinteros in the 57th minute. Fernando Belo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horacio Quinteros's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. In the 86th minute Cantera Leales Sin Pagar were awarded a corner. Emanuel Cefero went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Cantera Leales Sin Pagar's Emanuel Cefero to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 89th minute, Horacio Quinteros reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Vera. The goal made the score 0-2. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horacio Quinteros in the 97th minute of the match.
