Hao Yan Ying scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 13th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Günalp Taştan could save by the left post. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hao Yan Ying, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hao Yan Ying in the 22nd minute of play. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Günalp Taştan made a huge save. 32 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Günalp Taştan, 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Günalp Taştan in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner ended in Luis Andino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but 61 PIMMS FC's Günalp Taştan did a great save. Hao Yan Ying sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Selman Özçelik in the 47th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hao Yan Ying in the 55th minute of play. Günalp Taştan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 61 PIMMS FC's Günalp Taştan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 61st minute of play. Günalp Taştan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 64th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Günalp Taştan was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hao Yan Ying in the 68th minute of play.
