Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Lyuboslav Fudulov made a huge save. Victory FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Lautaro Mancebo scored to the left of an out of position Lyuboslav Fudulov, making the score, 3-0. Damyan Ostrev hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boyko Koynov in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Boyko Koynov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Lyuboslav Fudulov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laureano Medina, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute.

Victory FC's Tomislav Batakliev was substituted for Laureano Medina. Victory FC's Leif Håkansson was substituted for Damyan Ostrev. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marko Kerkenezov in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Gaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lyuboslav Fudulov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marko Kerkenezov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Victory FC's Lyuboslav Fudulov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 68th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Gervasio Teyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lyuboslav Fudulov having to interfere. Mexico walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
