Alonso Berganza made in the 11th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC ICEWIND DALE's Ismail Perin. 12 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kuno Lüdimõis. FC ICEWIND DALE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a rather tough play, Peru's Efraim Gilabert got a free kick in the 17th minute. Kuno Lüdimõis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milagros Fraga in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute Milagros Fraga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kuno Lüdimõis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando Marinho got free with Rolando Noboa in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Marinho in the 29th minute of the match. After 32nd play minutes Fernando Marinho shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Rolando Noboa and just under the crossbar into goal. Julian Murillo scored 1-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kuno Lüdimõis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. FC ICEWIND DALE's Ismail Perin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alonso Berganza, made in the 41st minute of the game. Fernando Marinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. FC ICEWIND DALE's Fernando Marinho got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Luz Tejedor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Kuno Lüdimõis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kuno Lüdimõis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. FC ICEWIND DALE's Kuno Lüdimõis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save FC ICEWIND DALE from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 65th minute of play forced FC ICEWIND DALE's goalkeeper Kuno Lüdimõis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Zeki Canver in the 68th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. If Luz Tejedor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. FC ICEWIND DALE's Patryk Ranowiecki was substituted for Fernando Marinho. Kuno Lüdimõis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 78th minute. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 79th minute. Rafael Gallo in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal.
