In the 10th minute, Milagros Fraga fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ivan Drago, passed just outside the right post. Ove Boström made in the 14th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. Rolando Noboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pepe Argento's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Lost Boys Sports Academy's Ivan Drago proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Lost Boys Sports Academy from getting a goal against them. Ivan Drago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Peru booed when Lost Boys Sports Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Quiroga didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Lost Boys Sports Academy's Ivan Drago got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ove Boström hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the game, Pepe Argento cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rolando Noboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Lost Boys Sports Academy were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julian Murillo to strike the kick off in the second half. Ove Boström made in the 52nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Pepe Argento immediately put the ball in play. In the 54th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Drago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57thth minute of the game Pepe Argento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ivan Drago didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eliseo Mina went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Lost Boys Sports Academy's Hu Cheng was substituted for Marcelo Xabat. Ivan Drago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Ivan Drago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute of the match, Coronel Llorente tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rolando Noboa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Lost Boys Sports Academy made a substitution. Johan Sellberg replaced Pepe Argento. Emmanuel Reyes made in the 74th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Lost Boys Sports Academy's Merih Demiral. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 76th minute of play forced Lost Boys Sports Academy's goalkeeper Ivan Drago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Johan Sellberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rolando Noboa came out and tried to block the shot, but Johan Sellberg slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 78th minute. After a rather tough play, Peru's Emmanuel Reyes got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Emmanuel Reyes kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Johan Sellberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Noboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3.
