In the 5th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miromir Rydzewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ibrahim Nezirović could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Miromir Rydzewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in KoLiber's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miromir Rydzewski came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 14 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Miromir Rydzewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by KoLiber's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Ibrahim Nezirović sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th minute, Felix Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. KoLiber's Ibrahim Nezirović got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of KoLiber booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miromir Rydzewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 32nd minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, KoLiber's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Miromir Rydzewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Przemyslaw Prusek might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Przemyslaw Prusek ran back to his position shaking his head. 36 minutes in the game, Przemyslaw Prusek fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Julio Vera having to interfere. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Przemyslaw Prusek in the 42nd minute of the match. Filip Jandryca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Przemyslaw Prusek in the 53rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Miromir Rydzewski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Miromir Rydzewski made a huge save. In the 60th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Miromir Rydzewski. KoLiber's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a rather tough play, KoLiber's Wiktor Scigan got a free kick in the 65th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Wiktor Scigan managed to get in a good position for a shot. KoLiber's supporters rose to their feet, but Wiktor Scigan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 70th minute of play forced KoLiber's goalkeeper Miromir Rydzewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ecuador booed when KoLiber was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iwo Budrewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Miromir Rydzewski in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wiktor Scigan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th play minute Felix Montenegro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Miromir Rydzewski. 0-2. Wiktor Scigan struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KoLiber. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miromir Rydzewski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador played a much better game than KoLiber and deserved their victory. The KoLiber players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
