Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Finlay Stair got the match started through his kick off. In the 5thth minute of the game Angus Howison who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Rangers FC's Darius Bontine got a free kick in the 10th minute. If Finlay Stair had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 12th minute, Geroy Ascue hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Rangers FC booed when Jamaica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geroy Ascue didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goal looked a bit too open when Danny Gilespie came free, but Demonde Jacobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tim Charles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Demonde Jacobson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Rangers FC's goalkeeper Fergus Fairbairn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Finlay Stair. 21 minutes into the game, Ronan McLaws was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rangers FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jamaica the free kick. 28 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goal looked a bit too open when Darius Bontine came free, but Demonde Jacobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute, Ronan McLaws hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fergus Fairbairn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karlus Waugh in the 32nd minute of the match. Romon Oliver got his second yellow card in the match during the 42nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Rangers FC's Ronan McLaws got his second yellow card of the match in the 52nd minute. The referee ordered Ronan McLaws off the ground. Ronan McLaws hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Jamaica from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Rangers FC booed when Jamaica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Finlay Stair didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stevie McGilvray sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fergus Fairbairn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jarell Hill went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Darius Bontine kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. A collision led to Jamaica getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Jamaall Padmore hit a great ball. Demonde Jacobson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Tim Charles. Ron McLeish fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demonde Jacobson having to interfere. With a little luck, Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson got control of the ball when Danny Gilespie tried to sneak it across the goal line. Demonde Jacobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ron McLeish in the 95th minute of the match. Many of Rangers FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Rangers FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Jamaica were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
