Francisco Seco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rudolf Pisarčík read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Sebastián Sobera got a throw-in 15 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Jozef Koščo. In the 17th minute Uruguay were awarded a corner. Jaime Cazalla went to the cornerflag to take it. 25 minutes into the match, FC Dlha's goalkeeper Rudolf Pisarčík had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Seco. When Jozef Koščo fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Dlha's protests and gave Jozef Koščo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th minute, Jozef Koščo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Dlha's Rudolf Pisarčík played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Gisbert in the 37th minute of play. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Dlha's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jaime Cazalla was slow to take the kick. During this time Uruguay's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Jaime Cazalla got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rudolf Pisarčík quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Diaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. 44 minutes into the game, Jaime Cazalla threw the ball into play from the sideline. FC Dlha's Jozef Koščo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ján Hnilica in the 47th minute of play. The Uruguay players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Dlha were winning 0-1.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Diaz in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Kent Vinström came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the FC Dlha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kent Vinström couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Vinström in the 66th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Dlha's Kent Vinström. But to his dismay, Kent Vinström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, FC Dlha's Matúš Chriašteľ got a free kick in the 75th minute. The audience was convinced that Francisco Seco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rudolf Pisarčík was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, FC Dlha's Jozef Hološko got a free kick in the 81st minute. The supporters of Uruguay booed when FC Dlha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Kemal Al Abdullah didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, FC Dlha's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Cazalla came free, but Rudolf Pisarčík reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute, FC Dlha's Kent Vinström ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. 95 minutes into the match, Luís Diaz notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC Dlha's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
