In the 36th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montes to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in ≮王者归来≯传说中的菜鸟's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 宋鹰扬 came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 宋鹰扬 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 41st minute of play. Daniel Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. A hard shot 46 in the game by 龚渊扬 from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. The ≮王者归来≯传说中的菜鸟 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-4.

Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 宋鹰扬 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 62nd minute, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 龚渊扬 in the 69th minute of play. 宋鹰扬 made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. ≮王者归来≯传说中的菜鸟's 宋鹰扬 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 73rd minute of play. 宋鹰扬 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 75th minute. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Agustín Saelices managed to get in a good position for a shot. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 宋鹰扬. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. Cristian Sancho was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 96th minute. Ecuador's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance.
