Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gaspar Dunixi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Luis Quirce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luis Quirce was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. The corner led to CACYFA's Adolfo Jorrin getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Dunixi in the 40th minute of play. Basilio Bixintxo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. After 43 played minutes CACYFA got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Dunixi.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaspar Dunixi in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. With an all-out effort, CACYFA's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 62 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gaspar Dunixi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Camilo Gaos's late challenge caught a CACYFA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Gaos helped the player get up and apologised. After 63 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Venezuela! Jonathan Ferrant went to the wrong direction when Atilano Jerico was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. A collision led to CACYFA getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Xu Feng Wei hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Dunixi, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luis Quirce narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A hard shot 73 in the game by Gaspar Dunixi from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. In the 75th minute, Gaspar Dunixi made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Alex Chicote got a free kick in the 80th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Safet Jovanović got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Dunixi in the 86th minute of play. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Venezuela's goalie and right to Emil Tomasson. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Venezuela's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Gaspar Dunixi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Gaspar Dunixi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gaspar Dunixi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Luis Quirce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 98th minute of play.
