After a rather tough play, Floresta Club U18's Eliézer Correia got a free kick in the 10th minute. Tomé Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. Douglas de Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Douglas de Souza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacobo Nores read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas de Souza in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Gilmar Castro notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Paraguay's Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gilmar Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Gilmar Castro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Floresta Club U18 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Xavier Zoido got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 38 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Gilmar Castro came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Primitivo Escribano fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paraguay's protests and gave Primitivo Escribano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 41st minute, Primitivo Escribano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilmar Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 44 minutes of play, Floresta Club U18's Gilmar Castro made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacobo Nores was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jacobo Nores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Douglas de Souza went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Douglas de Souza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tomé Reis succeeded in the game's 55th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-6. Gilmar Castro struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Jacobo Nores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Floresta Club U18. In the 60th minute, Primitivo Escribano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Douglas de Souza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Douglas de Souza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Gilmar Castro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jacobo Nores. That made the score 0-7 in the 64 minute of play. In the 68th minute, Paraguay's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Douglas de Souza fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Jacobo Nores made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Douglas de Souza sent off a good shot on target. Floresta Club U18's Tomé Reis got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 77 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Douglas de Souza. The Floresta Club U18 fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Floresta Club U18's Tomé Reis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tomé Reis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacobo Nores read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Vito Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 91 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Vito Maia came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacobo Nores made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Douglas de Souza sent off a good shot on target. When the match was over Floresta Club U18 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Paraguay throughout the match.
