Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Lakers FC's Sidnei Branco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bolivia's Eduardo Fontirroig got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paulão Corrêa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Fontirroig, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Eduardo Fontirroig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Paulão Corrêa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 18 minutes, Tiago Eger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lakers FC and the Bolivia players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th minute, Tiago Eger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 21 played minutes Lakers FC got a freekick which was hit by Percival Magalhães. With a little luck, Lakers FC's Paulão Corrêa got control of the ball when Mario Fernandino tried to sneak it across the goal line. It was a well-played corner which Alfonso de la Cruz managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After having played for 32 minutes, Mario Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolivia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Fernandino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lakers FC's Sidnei Branco got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute Sidnei Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Freixa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mario Fernandino made a kick off. A collision led to Lakers FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Sidnei Branco hit a great ball. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lakers FC's goalkeeper Paulão Corrêa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Lakers FC booed when Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 73rd match minute, Lakers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Eger to maneuver through the defense. Lakers FC's Paulão Corrêa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso de la Cruz in the 74th minute of play. Camilo Freixa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidnei Branco in the 79th minute of play. Paulão Corrêa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Ferrant in the 85th minute of the match. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bolivia! Alfonso de la Cruz hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 99th minute of the match, managed to save Bolivia from getting a goal against them. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Lakers FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
