After a defensive mix-up in Legia Warszawa SA's zone, Lautaro Mancebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alve Søderholm came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanislaw Klawki in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute Cemalettin Özercan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Mexico players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Legia Warszawa SA from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
