Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sidnei Branco took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the game, Tiago Eger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lakers FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Salvador the free kick. The long shot by Mateo Leguizamo in the 5th minute really tested Paulão Corrêa's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 6th match minute, Lakers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Percival Magalhães to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as El Salvador's Moises Fernandino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paulão Corrêa. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. The supporters of El Salvador booed when Lakers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Eger didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 16 minutes into the game, when Ronaldo Paes put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lakers FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 16th minute. Penalty! Lakers FC:s Paulão Corrêa showed great skill when he stopped Mateo Leguizamo:s penalty. Moises Fernandino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Moises Fernandino took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulão Corrêa. Paulão Corrêa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 33 minutes into the match, Lakers FC's goalkeeper Paulão Corrêa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Moises Fernandino. With a little luck, Lakers FC's Paulão Corrêa got control of the ball when Moises Fernandino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lakers FC's Paulão Corrêa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Luque in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Adhemar Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Moises Fernandino to make the kick off. Lakers FC's Paulão Corrêa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Fernandino in the 55th minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, Sidnei Branco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Moises Fernandino in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulão Corrêa saved Lakers FC from getting behind. Moises Fernandino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulão Corrêa having to make a save. Paulão Corrêa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Fernandino in the 68th minute of play. El Salvador's Abram Luque got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of El Salvador booed when Lakers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sidnei Branco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute Mateo Leguizamo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulão Corrêa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Lakers FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Tiago Eger hit a great ball. After 74 played minutes, El Salvador's Mateo Leguizamo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Paulão Corrêa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in El Salvador reached it. If Adhemar Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abram Luque kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Adhemar Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 83rd minute by Adhemar Montenegro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Moises Fernandino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulão Corrêa having to interfere. If Adhemar Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Abram Luque hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. El Salvador had won after a very even match.
