Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Illescas got the match started through his kick off. In the 27th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Dahlbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Thomas Wassberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thomas Wassberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 37 minutes into the game, Thomas Wassberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MAFFIAN's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. When Alf Säfström fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MAFFIAN's protests and gave Alf Säfström a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th minute, Alf Säfström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MAFFIAN's Aron Dahlbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 43rd minute of play. The supporters of MAFFIAN booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Thomas Wassberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Illescas succeeded in the game's 48th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thomas Wassberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the game, Jose Correa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MAFFIAN the free kick. After 57 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. In the 58th minute, Thomas Wassberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MAFFIAN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Hugo Nyman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 67 minutes into the game, Kristoffer Nyberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MAFFIAN's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aron Dahlbom having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torgny Mogren in the 73rd minute of play. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aron Dahlbom having to interfere. After 92 minutes of play MAFFIAN's Alf Säfström was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, MAFFIAN's Alf Säfström got a free kick in the 93rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Vallin in the 95th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
