Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edmundo Espiga started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Lunar Park booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentín Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Fabien Canu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lautaro Navarro, 2-0. The supporters of Honduras booed when Lunar Park was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Derviş Okan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 29 minutes of play, Lunar Park's Fabien Canu made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 36th minute, Lunar Park's Fabien Canu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. In the 40th minute, one of Honduras:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Honduras. The goalkeeper, Lautaro Navarro, was totally fooled by Lunar Park's Carlos Taillade, who 41 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Fabien Canu's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabien Canu helped the player get up and apologised. After 44 played minutes Lunar Park got a freekick which was hit by Fabien Canu. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The wind increased when Fabien Canu made the kick off in the second half. Fabien Canu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 55th minute, Ivan Navarro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 56 minutes, Fabien Canu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lunar Park's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabien Canu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabien Canu in the 57th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Fabien Canu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Fabien Canu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Fabien Canu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabien Canu in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabien Canu in the 70th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, Fabien Canu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. When Lunar Park's Fabien Canu in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Honduras's goalie prevented a goal. 85 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Fabien Canu came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabien Canu got his second yellow card in the match during the 87th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Fabien Canu hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 89 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Claude Ciron came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute, Sebastian Villa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Claude Ciron fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lunar Park's protests and gave Claude Ciron a yellow card for diving instead. Claude Ciron kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Lunar Park were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Honduras for a fine match.
