Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) When Jackson Caballero came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Chisholm Rookie fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jackson Caballero couldn't finish the play. If Connor Christie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 12th minute of play forced Chisholm Rookie's goalkeeper Danial McDermott to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adolfo Dorsey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17thth minute of the game Connor Christie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 19th minute of the match Jackson Caballero shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lautaro Navarro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Chisholm Rookie's Connor Christie got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 24th minute 石博震 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 26 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Milagros Cabal. After a defensive mix-up in Chisholm Rookie's zone, Sebastian Villa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danial McDermott came out of the goal and Sebastian Villa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 35 minutes into the match, Connor Christie notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 40th minute, Connor Christie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 42nd minute Adolfo Dorsey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Adolfo Dorsey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chisholm Rookie's supporters rose to their feet, but Adolfo Dorsey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Moises Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Tafalla couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
In the 52nd minute Sebastian Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danial McDermott saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Adolfo Dorsey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Adolfo Dorsey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Connor Christie received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lautaro Navarro came out and tried to block the shot, but Connor Christie slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 59th minute. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Connor Christie in the 74th minute of play. Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adolfo Dorsey in the 77th minute. After 78 minutes, Connor Christie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chisholm Rookie and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. Connor Christie kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Adolfo Dorsey sent off a good shot on target. In the 86th minute of the match Honduras got a corner. Chisholm Rookie's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edmundo Espiga ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Adolfo Dorsey sent off a good shot on target. Adolfo Dorsey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Chisholm Rookie supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Chisholm Rookie would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
