Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. In the 6th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 8 minutes, Rudolf Josefsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MAFFIAN and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, MAFFIAN's Rudolf Josefsson got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Dahlbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aron Dahlbom. Aron Dahlbom dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in MAFFIAN's zone, Luis Andino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aron Dahlbom came out of the goal and Luis Andino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aron Dahlbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ecuador booed when MAFFIAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gunde Svan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aron Dahlbom stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Wassberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aron Dahlbom made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Aron Dahlbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by MAFFIAN's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Luis Andino managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 40th minute, Primitivo Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Ecuador booed when MAFFIAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudolf Josefsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. MAFFIAN's Mark Widberg was substituted for George Svensson. In the 43rd match minute, MAFFIAN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudolf Josefsson to maneuver through the defense. Mark Widberg kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thomas Wassberg was the one to do the kick off. The MAFFIAN fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when MAFFIAN's Alex Vallin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Agustín Saelices kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Gunde Svan, 54 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 56th minute, MAFFIAN's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by MAFFIAN's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Aron Dahlbom was a little too slow when Cristian Sancho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 1-3. 71 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aron Dahlbom, 1-4. In the 73rd minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Aron Dahlbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 78th minute of the match. MAFFIAN's Aron Dahlbom proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save MAFFIAN from getting a goal against them. In the 83rd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. MAFFIAN's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Luis Andino hit a great ball. Ecuador played a much better game than MAFFIAN and deserved their victory. The MAFFIAN players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
