Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rdth minute of the game Dylan Sarmiento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Showtime FC's Simon Hori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 5th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Showtime FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Simon Hori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dylan Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. With 27 minutes on the clock, Feliberto Tab commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Showtime FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Ecuador a penalty, 29 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Daniel Zorita, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Showtime FC's Simon Hori. 0-1. If Narciso Mero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 34 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Showtime FC's Simon Hori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 38th minute of play. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when José Puch tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Showtime FC's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon Hori came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Puch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Puch. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when José Puch made the kick off in the second half. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Simon Hori came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Sancho slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 56th minute. Simon Hori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 61st minute of play. Simon Hori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Puch's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. In the 70th match minute, Showtime FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Todor to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Simon Hori tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Simon Hori was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Showtime FC made a substitution. Eustacio Sadurni replaced Celestino Richie. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Showtime FC.
