The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, Tullidos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Currito Torrente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tullidos FC's goalkeeper Currito Torrente, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Peru's Alonso Berganza managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Rodolfo Abecia in the 29 minute of the game. Currito Torrente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Balázs Kulcsár in the 35th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Balázs Kulcsár came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute Tullidos FC were awarded a corner. Guido Ocaña went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Tullidos FC's Guido Ocaña to fire away a dangerous shot which Rolando Noboa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Tullidos FC's Rodolfo Abecia got a free kick in the 45th minute. Currito Torrente was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alonso Berganza showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 47 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Murillo to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Abecia threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Julian Murillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Currito Torrente having to interfere. Guido Ocaña might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Noboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tullidos FC's Sven-Oskar Lundhberg was substituted for Dantel Lama. In the 70th minute of the game Alonso Berganza made a throw-in which Moises Gayoso played forward. Sven-Oskar Lundhberg hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 83rd minute of play forced Tullidos FC's goalkeeper Currito Torrente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute, Celestino Mannie reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rolando Noboa. The goal made the score 2-3. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. In the 92nd match minute, Tullidos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sonny Lindqvist to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute Rafael Gallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Currito Torrente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chants of Tullidos FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Peru had held the ball for most of the match.
