Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Axel Tasis made the kick off and thus started the match. 4 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Isaltino Toledo came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isaltino Toledo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benito Sanz came out and tried to block the shot, but Isaltino Toledo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. Axel Tasis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Vânderson Cardoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isaltino Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vânderson Cardoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of A.D.PADRE MIGUEL booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Noboa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaltino Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, Juan Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Walmyr Novaes scored 4-0 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

If Arthur Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaltino Toledo in the 53rd minute of play. Juan Rubio's late challenge caught a A.D.PADRE MIGUEL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Rubio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Rubio to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the game, A.D.PADRE MIGUEL's Walmyr Novaes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arthur Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Puig struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Vânderson Cardoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. After 70 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Juan Rubio. After having played for 71 minutes, Isaltino Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.D.PADRE MIGUEL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaltino Toledo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Manfredo Palmeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.D.PADRE MIGUEL's supporters rose to their feet, but Manfredo Palmeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by A.D.PADRE MIGUEL's Altino Vale. But to his dismay, Altino Vale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arthur Barbosa in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Alexander Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vânderson Cardoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 92nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaltino Toledo in the 93rd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
