Cheng De Jing tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, GoldDiam V55's goalkeeper Cheng De Jing had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. When Alex Chicote fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Alex Chicote a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Alex Chicote hit a great ball. Robert Macovei made in the 18th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Radu Pacurar immediately put the ball in play. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Cheng De Jing made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 25th minute of play forced GoldDiam V55's goalkeeper Cheng De Jing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliodor Barbosu scored 0-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 29 minutes into the game, Emanuel Inculeț cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Tomas Illescas sped through GoldDiam V55's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cheng De Jing. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Cheng De Jing stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patricio Costa's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Eliodor Barbosu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eliodor Barbosu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. 61 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Eliodor Barbosu came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cheng De Jing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 64th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vintilă Dogaru during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vintilă Dogaru kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Radu Pacurar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cheng De Jing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 76th minute of the match. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Eliodor Barbosu scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 1-4. Sabin Bugariu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute, Joshua Secada made a precise shot to the right of Cheng De Jing. GoldDiam V55's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4.
