João Augusto Soeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Koby Wright in the 5th minute of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Porvir FC's goal looked a bit too open when Koby Wright came free, but João Augusto Soeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edu França hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. João Augusto Soeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Koby Wright, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Koby Wright was slow to take the kick. During this time Canada's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Canada's Carter George getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After 23 played minutes Porvir FC got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Luiz de Carvalho. Porvir FC's João Augusto Soeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Koby Wright in the 27th minute of play. Jax Williamson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gino Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Rohan Watson fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. João Augusto Soeiro came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Canada's Luka Harris. But to his dismay, Luka Harris quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. João Augusto Soeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rohan Watson in the 45th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Canada's João Augusto Soeiro threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Koby Wright, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gino Moreira was the one to do the kick off. Theo Burton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Augusto Soeiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. After 65 played minutes Porvir FC got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Luiz de Carvalho. Canada's Prince Anderson was substituted for Carter George. Porvir FC's Claes Bjurström was substituted for Fábio Félix. After a rather tough play, Porvir FC's Sílvio Luiz de Carvalho got a free kick in the 67th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theo Burton in the 71st minute of play forced Porvir FC's goalkeeper João Augusto Soeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Augusto Soeiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filip Edwards's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Porvir FC's goal looked a bit too open when Theo Burton came free, but João Augusto Soeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Canada's Jax Williamson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Canada from getting a goal against them.
