Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Yu Zheng Zheng struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peluchita Fc. Eulalio Abaunza received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Eulalio Abaunza slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 14th minute. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froilan Tabb in the 27th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eulalio Abaunza in the 29th minute. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eulalio Abaunza. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eulalio Abaunza's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Peluchita Fc's Wiktor Pusiak shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 41st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jonathan Ferrant but with some difficulty. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eulalio Abaunza in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Evelio Gaufred in the 51 minute of the game. 53 minutes into the match, Eulalio Abaunza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eulalio Abaunza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yu Zheng Zheng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eulalio Abaunza got in the 65th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Jonathan Ferrant handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yu Zheng Zheng in the 66th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Joshua Secada got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 70th minute Eulalio Abaunza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 74 minutes, Marciano Obeko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Peluchita Fc and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Peluchita Fc fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
