The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. Stelian Butuc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 6th minute of the match. After 7 minutes Dacians Academy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Iwo Tamulewicz sent off a good shot on target. After 14 minutes, Leonardo Leoz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mexico and the Dacians Academy players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 14 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Leoz. After 16 played minutes, Dacians Academy's Fermin Prejun shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dante Lacasa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dacians Academy reached it. Stelian Butuc didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Gaona went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Manole Anghel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. 22 minutes into the match, Dacians Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Stelian Butuc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Dacians Academy's Stelian Butuc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 25th minute of play. The supporters of Dacians Academy booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31stth minute of the game Manole Anghel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iwo Tamulewicz in the 32nd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 minutes Mexico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fermin Prejun who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Dacians Academy's corner Fermin Prejun fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dante Lacasa quite easily take care of the ball. In the 35th minute, Iwo Tamulewicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Stelian Butuc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 42nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Iwo Tamulewicz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iwo Tamulewicz in the 46th minute. Stelian Butuc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 48th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manole Anghel was the one to do the kick off. Manole Anghel took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Macos Graciani made in the 61st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Dacians Academy's He Peng Ming. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iwo Tamulewicz in the 63rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Mancebo scored 2-2 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stelian Butuc, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavi Popescu in the 72nd minute of play. In the 79th minute, Xavi Popescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Dacians Academy's attentive He Peng Ming managed to snatch the ball when Macos Graciani made a throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 88 minutes into the game, Macos Graciani threw the ball into play from the sideline. Dacians Academy's He Peng Ming quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Fermin Prejun kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iwo Tamulewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iwo Tamulewicz in the 94th minute of play. The Dacians Academy players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
