The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dylan Sarmiento kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. 4 minutes into the match, El Altet FC's Dalmu Abajas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcos Cotilla narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Igor Acedo sent off a good shot on target. El Altet FC were furious when Nuno Canal was red carded, 11 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 11th minute of the game. One of El Altet FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Panama:s goal. The referee gave Panama a penalty, 13 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Abraham Alguacil, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of El Altet FC's Vitin Parra. 0-1. Igor Acedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. Aratz Llinares was extremely unlucky when he, in the 20th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. Abraham Alguacil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Vitin Parra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, El Altet FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Sarmiento came free, but Vitin Parra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Berganza struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Vitin Parra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. Dalmu Abajas struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Marcos Cotilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Altet FC. Manolo Aznar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aratz Llinares in the 44th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Igor Acedo in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Tomas Berganza made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manolo Aznar in the 52nd minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the match, El Altet FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Sarmiento came free, but Vitin Parra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 58th minute of play forced El Altet FC's goalkeeper Vitin Parra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vitin Parra came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Panama's Tomas Berganza. But to his dismay, Tomas Berganza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Alex Cambeiro scored 1-5 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vitin Parra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Manolo Aznar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 86th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-6. In the 91st minute, Leandro Montero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Berganza struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Vitin Parra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Isidoro Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidoro Sarmiento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vitin Parra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Panama walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
