Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Costa Rica's Axel Tasis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 孔磊傲 scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from King Eken went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 18 minutes into the match, King Eken had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that King Eken was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Club Brugge's Stein Spoelberch proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Club Brugge from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 23rd minute of play forced Club Brugge's goalkeeper Stein Spoelberch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Club Brugge fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Club Brugge's King Eken looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Axel Tasis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Stein Spoelberch made a huge save. Eliseo Noboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stein Spoelberch having to interfere. Stein Spoelberch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If King Eken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 0-6 when King Eken sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, King Eken kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. 42 minutes into the match, 孔磊傲 notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Costa Rica players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club Brugge were winning 0-8.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 孔磊傲 to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, King Eken ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. 孔磊傲s short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Benito Sanz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 孔磊傲 in the 55th minute of play. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 孔磊傲, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Club Brugge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brent Nelleboedske didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aaron Alcocer hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 孔磊傲, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 73rd minute, Lautaro Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the game, 孔磊傲 recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. 孔磊傲 showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-10. 81 minutes into the game, King Eken cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-11. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Club Brugge's Jan-Simon Elsen was substituted for 孔磊傲. In the 85th minute, Jan-Simon Elsen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. King Eken recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alan Moruga got a free kick in the 89th minute. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Brugge's King Eken. But to his dismay, King Eken quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-12. In the 95th minute, Club Brugge's Jan-Simon Elsen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-13. When the final whistle sounded Club Brugge left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Costa Rica.
