Godfried Parmentier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Xander Van Geertruyden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 35th minute of the match. After 42 minutes of play, Onhaye's Sven Snäll made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Axel Tasis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Onhaye booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute Aaron Alcocer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xander Van Geertruyden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, Sven Snäll got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joerie Baeyens in the 91st minute of play. In the 91st match minute, Onhaye was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andre Geijselinckx to maneuver through the defense. 98 minutes into the match, Sven Snäll dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 0-4.
