The supporters of Vipos FC booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Facundo Cadaval didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rafa Santos Borré could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Gervasio Ixaka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 24th minute of the match. Gervasio Ixaka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 27th minute of play. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafa Santos Borré's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the game, Lautaro Mancebo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gervasio Ixaka was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 37 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Fidel Jokin came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vipos FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 38th minute. Penalty! Gervasio Ixaka had in the 39thth minute some difficulties stopping Joel Gaona's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Gervasio Ixaka however easily saved by the left post. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 57th minute. Lautaro Mancebo made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Vipos FC's Gervasio Ixaka managed to reach the ball for a save. Gervasio Ixaka made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Joel Gaona sent off a good shot on target. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Jokin, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Joel Gaona kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Vipos FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo scored to the left of an out of position Gervasio Ixaka, making the score, 0-2. Gervasio Ixaka was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Alberto Tafalla capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal.
