Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Jamaica's Finlay Stair started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Demonde Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danny Gilespie in the 4th minute of play. After 5 minutes, Danny Gilespie made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Stevie McGilvray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demonde Jacobson having to interfere. When Jamaica's Karlus Waugh in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rangers FC's goalie prevented a goal. Demonde Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angus Howison in the 21st minute of play. Demonde Jacobson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danny Gilespie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Romon Oliver fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jamaica's protests and gave Romon Oliver a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Jamaica's Romon Oliver got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute Danny Gilespie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Angus Howison left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rangers FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The supporters of Rangers FC booed when Jamaica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romon Oliver didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 30 played minutes, Rangers FC's Tim Charles shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rangers FC reached it. Demonde Jacobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angus Howison in the 32nd minute of the match. A collision led to Rangers FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Connor Alsop hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Jarell Hill managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jamaica's supporters rose to their feet, but Jarell Hill was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fergus Fairbairn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Karlus Waugh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fergus Fairbairn was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Finlay Stair capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Finlay Stair really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Demonde Jacobson came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Rangers FC's Ron McLeish. But to his dismay, Ron McLeish quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. If Finlay Stair had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Jamaica players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rangers FC were winning 1-3.

The wind increased when Danny Gilespie made the kick off in the second half. Jamaica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Danny Gilespie scored to the left of an out of position Demonde Jacobson, making the score, 1-4. In the 55th minute Geroy Ascue suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Danny Gilespie fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rangers FC's protests and gave Danny Gilespie a yellow card for diving instead. Fergus Fairbairn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Finlay Stair in the 60th minute of the match. After 62 minutes, Jarell Hill mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jamaica and the Rangers FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Rangers FC's Darius Bontine got a free kick in the 66th minute. Connor Alsop received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Demonde Jacobson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Darius Bontine during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Darius Bontine hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danny Gilespie, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After a rather tough play, Jamaica's Romon Oliver got a free kick in the 89th minute. With a little luck, Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson got control of the ball when Danny Gilespie tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danny Gilespie in the 93rd minute of play forced Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Jamaica fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Rangers FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
