Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Talento Futebol clube's goalkeeper José Maria Souza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 8 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Maria Souza was left in no man's land by his defense there! Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Maria Souza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. After some careless play in the Talento Futebol clube defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Maria Souza. The Talento Futebol clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Maria Souza should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Talento Futebol clube getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Gualter Proença hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Luis Andino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. José Maria Souza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. José Maria Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 39th minute of play forced Talento Futebol clube's goalkeeper José Maria Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Maria Souza came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 47th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Talento Futebol clube's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and José Maria Souza quite easily take care of the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abdulaziz Onsoy to make the kick off. After 52 minutes Talento Futebol clube's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. 54 minutes into the match, Talento Futebol clube's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but José Maria Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Carlinhos Velasco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Talento Futebol clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Ecuador's Felix Montes shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 58th minute of play. The shot was stopped by José Maria Souza but with some difficulty. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 69th minute by Daniel Zorita got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 74 minutes into the match, Talento Futebol clube's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but José Maria Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Talento Futebol clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viktor Lindelof didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Maria Souza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Abdulaziz Onsoy struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Talento Futebol clube. In the 88th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Maria Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Abdulaziz Onsoy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Talento Futebol clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdulaziz Onsoy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Aparecido in the 91st minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Aparecido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute, Joel Aparecido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
