Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ahmet Refik Ülgü started the match with the kick off. In the 7thth minute of the game Ahmet Refik Ülgü who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but USA's Marco Day was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Georgi Dimitrov came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the FC CSKA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Georgi Dimitrov couldn't finish the play. In the 17th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georgi Velinov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Day was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Arnulfo Roderigo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arnulfo Roderigo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Marco Day made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ruslan Dzhalev in the 22nd minute. With a little luck, USA's Marco Day got control of the ball when Ruslan Dzhalev tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 29th minute, Cassius Byrne got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Georgi Dimitrov in the 33rd minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Georgi Velinov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 37th minute of play. Georgi Velinov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Mcdonald, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Georgi Dimitrov, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The supporters of FC CSKA booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edward Mcdonald didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Cassius Byrne received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Georgi Velinov came out and tried to block the shot, but Cassius Byrne slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 51st minute. Georgi Velinov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 57th minute of the match. Marco Day stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Refik Ülgü's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Bradley de Nooijer kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. In the 68th minute, Bradley de Nooijer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC CSKA's Asparuh Genovski was substituted for Ahmet Refik Ülgü. Georgi Velinov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Monty Rogers dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Georgi Velinov, 1-2. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Asparuh Genovski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC CSKA's Georgi Velinov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save FC CSKA from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, FC CSKA's Georgi Velinov got control of the ball when Khalid Parry tried to sneak it across the goal line. Georgi Velinov was a little too slow when Sam Campbell got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 1-3. USA played a much better game than FC CSKA and deserved their victory. The FC CSKA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
