Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joel Gaona got the match started through his kick off. Lautaro Mancebo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 3rdth minute, Branislav Velchevski skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Arnoldo Cordero hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Branislav Velchevski in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elpidio Francis, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. When Mexico's Lorenzo Cazalla in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goalie prevented a goal. Mexico were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA to leave the ground with a draw.
