Pablo Vegetti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Chile's Alan Tamayo got a free kick in the 18th minute. If Pablo Vegetti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Golo Duarte in the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute of the match CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land got a corner. Chile's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Filinto Ferro ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Filinto Ferro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Chile's Thiago Pliego did a great save. In the 29thth minute of the game Golo Duarte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Chile booed when CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kürşat Aktaş didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Duarte Duarte made a huge save. When Ulisses Duarte fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's protests and gave Ulisses Duarte a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Chile booed when CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulisses Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Golo Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Guillermo Fontirroig came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Chile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guillermo Fontirroig couldn't finish the play. Orlando Casaus received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Duarte Duarte came out and tried to block the shot, but Orlando Casaus slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 43rd minute. In the 46th minute Golo Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariano Lacasa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Golo Duarte came free with the goalkeeper in the 66th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Thiago Pliego could save by the left post. In the 69th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Duarte Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 75th minute of the match. Rodolfo Lencastre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. Chile had won after a very even match.
