Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 15th minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Júnior Zago kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Maria Souza saved Talento Futebol clube from getting behind. 24 minutes into the game, Joel Aparecido was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Talento Futebol clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. After 24 played minutes Talento Futebol clube got a freekick which was hit by Joel Aparecido. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Talento Futebol clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fraco Zago didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Maria Souza having to interfere. When Joel Aparecido came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Talento Futebol clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Aparecido couldn't finish the play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abdulaziz Onsoy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 58 minutes Talento Futebol clube's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdulaziz Onsoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Salvador Gisbert hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the match, Abdulaziz Onsoy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abdulaziz Onsoy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Júnior Zago got a throw-in 66 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Abdulaziz Onsoy. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Maria Souza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Aparecido in the 71st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Aparecido in the 77th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdulaziz Onsoy in the 79th minute of play. Carlinhos Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. After 90 minutes, Gualter Proença mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Talento Futebol clube and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th match minute, Talento Futebol clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualter Proença to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Talento Futebol clube had won after a very even match.
