Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Elemér Udvarhelyi started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Elemér Udvarhelyi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lautaro Navarro. Elemér Udvarhelyi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When Ferdinand Jupân came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Timbau CSM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferdinand Jupân couldn't finish the play. Tudor Balțoi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. In the 17th minute Nechifor Ispas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tudor Balțoi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Edmundo Espiga sped through Timbau CSM's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tudor Balțoi. When Elemér Udvarhelyi came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Timbau CSM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elemér Udvarhelyi couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Luca Espinar hit a great ball. In the 29th match minute, Timbau CSM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolae Dobrin to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elemér Udvarhelyi. 36 minutes into the match, Timbau CSM's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Tudor Balțoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tudor Balțoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nechifor Ispas in the 40th minute. Elemér Udvarhelyi's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elemér Udvarhelyi helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Timbau CSM's Elemér Udvarhelyi got a free kick in the 41st minute. If Elemér Udvarhelyi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Sebastian Villa got a free kick in the 46th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundo Espiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Silviu Tobă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristi Ionășescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tudor Balțoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute, Timbau CSM's Nicolae Dobrin seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Nicolae Dobrin the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Timbau CSM protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nicolae Dobrin had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Timbau CSM fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 69th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 71 minutes, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Tudor Balțoi. In the 74thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Timbau CSM's Tudor Balțoi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cristi Ionășescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Villa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tudor Balțoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The throw-in from Fabian Ilinca in the 81st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. Edmundo Espigas short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Tudor Balțoi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Nechifor Ispas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Timbau CSM's supporters rose to their feet, but Nechifor Ispas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edmundo Espigas short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Tudor Balțoi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 89 minutes into the game, Fabian Ilinca threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Moises Tafalla quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Timbau CSM's Tudor Balțoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Timbau CSM from getting a goal against them. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristi Ionășescu in the 97th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Timbau CSM lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
