In the 17th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Barrios to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Iosif Gurlui came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dylan Sarmiento during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Baia Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Zsigmond Pál to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of F.C. Baia Mare -MM- booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthew Garrido didn't get a good kick on the ball. Panama's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
