After some careless play in the Bolivia defense, George Buzoianu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camilo Freixa. The Bolivia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camilo Freixa should have stopped the shot. The supporters of F.C. Baia Mare -MM- booed when Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Ferrant didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bolivia's zone, Iosif Gurlui stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camilo Freixa came out of the goal and Iosif Gurlui tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Buzoianu in the 11th minute of the match. The F.C. Baia Mare -MM- fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s George Buzoianu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 17th minute, George Buzoianu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Camilo Freixa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After 22 minutes, George Buzoianu made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Buzoianu in the 31st minute of the match. 38 minutes into the game, George Buzoianu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Camilo Freixa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Iosif Gurlui blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Camilo Freixa having to make a save. In the 46th match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Chicote to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

George Buzoianus short, quick shot in the 51stth minute got Camilo Freixa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Camilo Freixa stood somewhat misplaced when George Buzoianu came free in front of goal and shot 0-6 to the left of him in the 51 minute. Joshua Miralles kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Iosif Gurlui received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Camilo Freixa came out and tried to block the shot, but Iosif Gurlui slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 60th minute. George Buzoianu might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Camilo Freixa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. George Buzoianu ran back to his position shaking his head. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Bolivia from getting a goal against them. George Buzoianu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Iosif Gurlui took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Camilo Freixa. Camilo Freixa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. George Buzoianu struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Camilo Freixa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C. Baia Mare -MM-. In the 82nd minute, Octavian Podgoreanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when George Buzoianu got free with Camilo Freixa in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Bolivia from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s Manuel Tărbac got a free kick in the 92nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Buzoianu in the 96th minute of play forced Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
