After the first half Rokita Brzeg Dolny were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iwo Domin to strike the kick off in the second half. Klement Bara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Rokita Brzeg Dolny's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Klement Bara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Klement Bara was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 91 played minutes Rokita Brzeg Dolny got a freekick which was hit by Kazimierz Felenak. Rafael Gallo scored 2-1 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Klement Bara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Peru's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
