Cassius Byrne in the 3rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tanek Bielejewski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 4th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanek Bielejewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tanek Bielejewski came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by USA's Cassius Byrne. But to his dismay, Cassius Byrne quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 17 minutes into the match, Grasshoppers Klucze's goalkeeper Tanek Bielejewski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cassius Byrne. Cassius Byrne received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tanek Bielejewski came out and tried to block the shot, but Cassius Byrne slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 17th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of USA's goalie and right to Hieronim Skrzypek. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. USA's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After 26 minutes Grasshoppers Klucze's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cassius Byrne who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Monty Rogers heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Monty Rogers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tanek Bielejewski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Grasshoppers Klucze's Tadeusz Raschke got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Praski, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Tanek Bielejewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 48 minutes into the match, USA's Edward Mcdonald sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tanek Bielejewski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 49th minute USA were awarded a corner. Cassius Byrne went to the cornerflag to take it. Cassius Byrne made a great header on USA's corner, it was just that Grasshoppers Klucze's Tanek Bielejewski managed to reach the ball for a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tadeusz Raschke stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cassius Byrne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Tanek Bielejewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, USA's Cassius Byrne sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tanek Bielejewski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Igor Praski's late challenge caught a USA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Igor Praski helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 55 minutes, Cassius Byrne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. USA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cassius Byrne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugon Imbor in the 58th minute of play. After 60 minutes USA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hieronim Skrzypek who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Kacper Charamut got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marco Day quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugon Imbor in the 61st minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Hieronim Skrzypek almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but USA's Marco Day did a great save. USA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Kacper Charamut scored to the left of an out of position Marco Day, making the score, 2-1. 70 minutes into the match, USA's goalkeeper Marco Day had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugon Imbor. When Monty Rogers came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the USA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Monty Rogers couldn't finish the play. In the 71st minute, Cassius Byrne left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The USA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. Kacper Charamut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marco Day made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kacper Charamut in the 79th minute. Grasshoppers Klucze's Karol Kolbert was substituted for Hieronim Skrzypek. USA made a substitution. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugon Imbor in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Khalid Parry got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. Tanek Bielejewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sam Campbell in the 97th minute of play. USA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jenson Smith in the 98th minute. A nice corner shot did that Jenson Smith got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tanek Bielejewski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. There was no doubt that USA were the better team. USA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
