Milagros Fraga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute Eliseo Mina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabin Pânzaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute of the match Peru got a corner. FC Aquile Azzurre's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. Milagros Fraga hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute of the match Alfons Bagge sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rolando Noboa skillfully saved the ball. FC Aquile Azzurre's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alfons Bagge in the 22nd minute. After 25th play minutes Julian Murillo shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Sabin Pânzaru and just under the crossbar into goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Äliqulu Vermäliyev was the one to do the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 51 minutes, Rolando Noboa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Julian Murillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 74th minute. The corner led Peru's Julian Murillo to fire away a dangerous shot which Sabin Pânzaru despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Luz Tejedor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Peru booed when FC Aquile Azzurre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Graziani didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sabin Pânzaru was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. In the 84th minute Dinç Dede shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. After a rather tough play, FC Aquile Azzurre's Augusto Graziani got a free kick in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Gallo in the 91st minute of play forced FC Aquile Azzurre's goalkeeper Sabin Pânzaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Antonio Tenorio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sabin Pânzaru quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Rafael Gallo struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Sabin Pânzaru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. In the 96th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquin Prats to maneuver through the defense. Peru's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
