After 87 minutes of play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Murilo Paredes was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Letal's goalkeeper Murilo Paredes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 92nd minute Tomás Goren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chile's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
