Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Berganza got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Terreiro's zone, Miguel Miralles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Mota came out of the goal and Miguel Miralles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fernando Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 8th minute of play. Fernando Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 10th minute of the match. Fernando Mota didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isidoro Sarmiento went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Robinho Moreira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. Raúl Varela hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 22ndth minute of the game Abraham Alguacil who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Terreiro's Fernando Mota was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abraham Alguacil in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Mota saved Terreiro from getting behind. Fernando Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 30th minute of play. Fernando Mota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abraham Alguacil, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robinho Moreira in the 40th minute of play. Mauro Quintal hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Terreiro's Robinho Moreira got a free kick in the 48th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Márcio Vidal was the one to do the kick off. Robinho Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. Ediberto Paranaense's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ediberto Paranaense helped the player get up and apologised. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Quintal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute, Robinho Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 65th minute of play forced Terreiro's goalkeeper Fernando Mota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ediberto Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 70 minutes into the game, when Renan de Godoy put in a rough tackle. In the 70th minute, one of Terreiro:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Terreiro. Márcio Vidal might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Cotilla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Márcio Vidal ran back to his position shaking his head. 81 minutes into the game, William Travassos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Terreiro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panama the free kick. Márcio Vidal's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Márcio Vidal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 90th match minute, Terreiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Márcio Vidal to maneuver through the defense. If Isidoro Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 98 minutes into the match, Terreiro's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Fernando Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Panama played a much better game than Terreiro and deserved their victory. The Terreiro players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
